“166 Logistics Academy - 2024” launches work and training internship program for young people

“166 Logistics Academy - 2024” has launched an internship program aimed at providing young people with work experience and future opportunities in the transportation sector.

Since 2019, the Academy, established by 166 Freight and Logistics, has given a positive boost to the career growth of hundreds of young people.

Starting in 2024, the “166 Logistics Academy” is strengthening its program for developing successful youth. Following the signing of the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People’s Republic of China at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, in light of discussions between the leaders of the two countries, bilateral relations have reached a qualitatively new level of development.

As is known, the region’s leading logistics company, 166 Freight and Logistics, has launched a regional program for the rapid delivery of container cargo from Chinese seaports to the Xi’an railway hub, from where they are transported to Baku.

The company also offers cooperation opportunities for young people in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yiwu, Xi’an, Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Urumqi, and other Chinese cities. The main requirements for applicants are basic knowledge in international relations and fluency in English, Russian, and Chinese. The “166 Logistics Academy” also opens its doors to young people in other countries where it operates - including Poland, Romania, UAE (Dubai), Türkiye, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

The new program is open to fourth-year university students and graduates of Azerbaijani universities, as well as master’s degree students. Selected young people will gain experience both in the logistics sector and in related fields.

The “166 Logistics Academy - 2024” internship program will be offered in the following areas:

The admission process lasts three months and consists of three stages: completing the online application, a test exam, and an interview. Candidates can apply via the recruitment portal 166HR.az.

It should be noted that participants in the internship program will be paid a salary.

Since 2019, the “166 Logistics Academy” internship program has received over 10,000 applications. Today, most Academy graduates work at 166 Freight and Logistics in various departments as department heads or in other positions.
