166 Freight and Logistics obtains international certificates
166 Freight and Logistics has implemented international management standards and obtained ISO compliance certificates in three areas.
Based on the results of the certification audit conducted by the certification body Intertek, the company was awarded the following international certificates:
-
ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System
-
ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System
-
ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System
“166 Freight and Logistics is one of the few local companies to receive three international compliance certificates simultaneously. By implementing international standards, we have made significant changes in various areas of our operations. Customer orientation has been brought to the forefront, procedures and safety measures have been improved, and an Integrated Management Systems group was created to oversee the application of these new standards,” said the company’s CEO, Aqil Zeynalov, at the certificate presentation ceremony.
“Despite challenging times, we observe a positive trend in the domestic market. Local companies are giving greater importance to improving quality and management methods, working to meet international requirements. A high service culture positively impacts the country’s development, and companies are making greater efforts to increase customer satisfaction. The implementation of international standards, obtaining compliance certificates, and managing quality reflect the development of the business environment in the country and the importance of these systems for business growth,” noted Javidan Melikova, Head of the Certification Department at Intertek.
It should be noted that 166 Freight and Logistics began implementing international standards in 2019. These standards have been aligned with criteria such as improving staff professionalism, increasing the competitiveness of services, ensuring safe working conditions, and reducing negative environmental impacts.
